Beaches in North Cornwall

Cornwall is known for its beaches. The beach at Port Gaverne is great for families, with excellent safe swimming in crystal clear waters and lots of rock pools and caves to explore.

The beach forms part of the secluded cove of Port Gaverne. It is sheltered by the surrounding coastline of high rocky cliffs with spectacular views. At high tide there is a grey pebble beach but at low water the sea ebbs away to reveal a golden beautiful sandy beach. This beach is ideal for children to safely play and enjoy paddling at low tide. The rock pools which surround the beach are fun to explore for local sealife.

The beach at Port Gaverne is ideal to fish from and to charter a fishing trip. It is the ideal place to visit for a beach holiday for families and couples alike.
