Surounding Countyside in North Cornwall

The Cornish countryside in Northern Cornwall is some of the most dramatic and rugged in the south west and indeed the whole of the UK.

Much of the countryside at Port Gaverne is owned and administered by the National Trust - it is an oasis of tranquillity, well off the beaten track, with fabulous walks and one of the most spectacular coastlines in the country.

The countryside surrounding Port Gaverne is truly unique and picturesque remaining basically unchanged in over 600 years. The countryside surrounding many of the North Cornwall fishing villages is unspoilt and steeped in history.
