Green Door Cottages comprise a courtyard complex of 18th century buildings, including cottages and a converted traditional cob barn let as holiday accommodation located 50 metres from the beach at Port Gaverne; and the Tregudda Apartments are two holiday apartments in an elevated position overlooking Port Gaverne. All our accommodation is self catering.

Pre-Arrival
By road:
From the A30 just after Launceston, take the exit signposted A395 Wadebridge & Camelford. At the end of the A395, turn left at the T-junction as you meet the A39. After 1 mile, turn right onto the B3314, signposted Boscastle, Delabole & Port Isaac.
Two miles after going through Delabole, take the right hand turn signposted to Port Gaverne. As you reach Port Gaverne, you will be heading downhill and you will see the beach on your right and the Green Door Cottages up the lane on your left.
By public transport:
The nearest Rail link is Bodmin Parkway which is 18 miles away.
Buses run from Bodmin Parkway to Port Gaverne: Take the 11A to Wadebridge, then the 584 to Port Gaverne.

On arrival you can either hire a car, or take a taxi to Port Gaverne.

Arrival & Car Parking Facilities
There is a private car park for the use of our guests, approximately 75 metres from the cottages. Venus, Marigold, Courtyard, Torca, Rose & Thrift have 1 designated parking space in the car park, each is fitted with a parking post to secure the space. Parking for Rashleigh (2 spaces) & Jasmine (1 space) is directly outside of the property.
Parking for the Tregudda Apartments: Vehicular access to Tregudda is via a very steep and narrow lane which measures 2.25m at the narrowest section. It is helpful to approach the driveway as straight as possible. Once at the property, there is ample parking and a turning space.

The nearest shops are in Port Isaac (quarter of a mile away).
Pub & Restaurant directly opposite and in Port Isaac.
1 cash point available in Port Isaac at the Co-op.
Marigold, Torca, Courtyard - Self Catering
Each property sleeps 4 – 1 double and 1 twin bedroom & 1 bathroom with shower over the bath. These properties are two storey and are ‘reverse level’. Pick up/drop off directly outside the front entrance. Access to the front door is via slate steps into an open-plan living/dining/kitchen room and a wood burning stove (not enclosed by safety cage). Stairs take you down to the bathroom and the bedrooms. Stairgates are fitted at the top of each staircase. The cottages have a patio door from one of the bedrooms downstairs leading directly into the courtyard garden (some have level access, some have a step down to the courtyard area). There is parking in the private car park nearby.
Venus – self catering
1 king size bed and 1 twin bedroom. 1 bathroom with shower over the bath and a separate shower enclosure. Venus is two storey and ‘reverse level’. Pick up/drop off directly outside the front entrance. Access to the front door is via slate steps into an open-plan living/dining/kitchen room and a wood burning stove (not enclosed by safety cage). Stairs take you down to the bathroom and the bedrooms. Stairgates are fitted at the top of each staircase. Venus has patio doors from both bedrooms downstairs leading directly into the courtyard garden and a private patio area (level access) to the front of the property. Venus has a private balcony enclosed with wrought iron railings upstairs (access – a step down from the living room area). The balcony (at first floor level) and the patio area overlook the pub beer garden which is opposite the property. There is parking in the private car park nearby.
Rose – self catering
Sleeps 4 – 1 king size bed and 1 twin bedroom & 1 bathroom with shower over the bath.
Rose is a single-storey cottage, with access to its own private rear garden/patio. Rose has an open-plan living / dining / kitchen room. The king bedroom window looks out onto the courtyard garden. The twin bedroom, which faces the rear garden, has a large window with window seat.
Rose can be accessed from the courtyard (no steps), or through the rear garden with steps up to the property. Parking is in the private car park (accessed through rear garden). Please Note: there is a drop from the rear garden to the stream - this is safely fenced off, but parents with young children should take care.
Thrift and Rashleigh – self catering
Rashleigh and Thrift were originally part of a large cob barn. Both properties are single storey with Delabole slate kitchen floors.
Thrift – sleeps 2 (1 double bedroom) with shower room (no bath). Thrift is the smallest of our properties. Access is through the courtyard garden (no direct access from the road). Parking is in the private car park nearby.
Rashleigh – sleeps 6 (2 doubles, 1 twin bedroom) with shower room and separate second toilet (no bath).
Rashleigh has sea views a spacious feel with an open-plan living/dining/kitchen room which can accommodate wheelchair users. There is a patio area with sea views for the exclusive use of guests in Rashleigh (please note: access to the cleaners store is via this patio). A door from the landing leads directly into the shared courtyard garden (small step down). Parking for 2 cars is just outside the property, and there is a disabled ramp up to the front entrance.
Jasmine – self catering
Sleeps 3 – 1 king size bed and 1 single bedroom & 1 bathroom with shower over bath.
Jasmine is single storey, with open plan living/dining/kitchen room and bedrooms and bathroom leading off. The bedroom and living rooms windows face onto the courtyard garden. Parking for 1 car is directly outside with level access to the property.
External Areas
Access to the courtyard is over gravel chippings. The courtyard garden is made up of a level grassed area with flower borders and a sandpit. The pathways are made mostly of random slate paving. There is a small step down to the grassed area. There is external lighting in the courtyard which is lit automatically during hours of darkness.
Tregudda Apartments – self catering
Each apartment sleeps 8.
Upper Tregudda has 2 bathrooms (1 en suite with shower), 1 bedroom with Kingsize double, 1 double, 1 twin and 1 single/twin (single bed with a second full single bed stored underneath). This apartment is on the first floor of the property, and has a large sitting room, kitchen & dining room. The sitting room, dining room and master bedroom have French windows opening onto a large, sea-facing hard-wood and glass balcony, with hard-wood decking, which runs along the front of the property. Access is via a number of concrete steps which turn a corner half way up. Parking is in the driveway outside the property.
Lower Tregudda is a ground floor apartment with large sitting room. Lower Tregudda has 2 bathrooms (1 en suite with bath and shower over) and a third shower room, 1 bedroom with Kingsize double, 1 double, 1 twin and 1 set of bunk beds. There is a kitchen/dining room. The master bedroom and sitting room have French doors leading directly onto the slate paved patio area and garden. The apartment is all on one level, however there is a step leading from the driveway to the patio area directly outside the front door. Parking is directly outside the property.
External area – Tregudda Apartments
Direct access from Lower Tregudda and down steps from Upper Tregudda to the garden, which is for the use of both apartments. The garden is a level grassed area to the front of the property looking directly out to sea and drops steeply away at the end of the garden. There is some fencing at the end of the garden but there is a pathway and steps leading directly down to the road which are down a steep slope. Access with a car is up a very steep and narrow slope (to the left of the Port Gaverne Hotel) which measures 2.25 meters at the narrowest point. The driveway is adjacent to the garden with no fencing between. There is good external lighting which is activated by movement sensor at night.
Additional information
A maximum of 2 well behaved dogs are very welcome in our properties, but are not allowed to be left unattended in any of the garden areas, and are not allowed on furniture or beds.
